You name the competitors you want to watch. Once a week, AdWhispr reads each tracked brand's ad library and hands you a short digest of what changed: the ads they launched, the ones they quietly paused, and the ones they are doubling down on. It reads only. It never clones, never launches, and never touches your account. The one signal it trusts is ad longevity, because an ad a brand keeps paying to run is an ad that is working.

## Use this when

You want a standing read on a handful of rivals without checking their ad libraries by hand every week. It fits keeping tabs on a category leader, watching two or three direct competitors during a launch season, or catching the moment a rival puts real weight behind a new angle.

Do not use this to act on what it finds. This skill only reports. When a digest surfaces an ad worth answering, take it into a cloning or launch skill, each with its own approval, as a separate step.

## What you need

- The brands you want tracked, by name or Facebook page. New ones are added to tracking on the first run.
- AdWhispr connected to your AI client. No ad account of your own is required, because this skill only reads public competitor libraries.
- A cadence. Weekly is the default. The digest reads whatever the tracked window has captured since the last run.

## How it runs

1. Confirm the watch list: the competitors to track and the markets that matter, since the ad library is region aware.
2. On the first run, add any new brands to tracking so their libraries are ingested and classified.
3. Each week, re-read every tracked brand's current library against the prior read.
4. Flag what changed: ads newly live, ads that disappeared since last week, and ads whose days-running keeps climbing.
5. Rank the movement by longevity, so a new ad already surviving stands out from one that may not last.
6. Hand back a short digest per brand: what launched, what paused, what they are leaning into, and any gap worth a look.

## What the skill checks

- Every claim about an ad, active status, first-seen date, copy, format, is read from the tracked library on this run, never assumed from an earlier week, because a competitor can pause or launch any day.
- No spend figure is stated anywhere. Ad count, format mix, and longevity are the only quantities it has, and none convert reliably to a dollar amount.
- The market filter is confirmed before reporting a brand as "gone quiet," since an empty result with the wrong region is a false negative, not a finding.

## When it stops

- Done: a weekly digest covering every tracked brand, with launches, pauses, and doubled-down winners ranked by longevity.
- Nothing to report: a tracked brand had no meaningful change this week, which is itself a real signal and is noted with the date.
- Blocked: a brand name does not resolve to any advertiser after reasonable variants are tried. The skill asks you for the exact page name or URL rather than guessing.

## What it will and won't do

Read only, alert only. This skill never spends, never launches, never clones, and never changes anything, on your account or a competitor's. It reads public ad-library data on a schedule and returns a brief. Any action you want to take from a digest is a separate skill with its own approval.

## What you get

A short weekly read on the rivals you chose to watch: per brand, the ads that went live, the ones that vanished, the winners whose days-running keeps growing, and a note on any opening they are leaving on the table. No spend estimates, no invented performance scores, no action taken. Just a standing pulse on the competition, delivered on your cadence.

## FAQ

### Does this launch or change any ads?

No. It is read only and alert only. It reads public competitor libraries and hands back a digest. It never spends, never launches, and never touches your account or theirs.

### How does it know what a competitor is doubling down on?

By tracking each ad's first- and last-seen dates day over day. An ad whose days-running keeps climbing is one the brand keeps paying to run, the honest proxy for a winner. The digest surfaces those without inventing a CTR or spend figure.

### How many competitors can it track?

As many as you add to the watch list. Each is read on its own, then rolled into one weekly digest so you get a single brief rather than scattered checks.

### How often does it run?

Weekly by default, on the cadence you set. Each run reads whatever the tracked libraries have captured since the last one.
