You point AdWhispr at a brand and it reads the messaging behind the ads that have stayed live the longest, then distills it into angles and offers you can actually use. It does not hand you their copy to paste. It categorizes the patterns, price framing, urgency, social proof, problem-solution, identity, so you get the reusable idea rather than the exact wording. Longevity decides which ads it reads, because the angles worth borrowing are the ones a brand has kept paying to run.

## Use this when

You are writing your own ads and want proven angles to draw from instead of a blank page, or you are mapping a category's messaging to find an angle nobody is running. It is the natural follow-on to a teardown: the teardown tells you which ads survived, this extracts why their messaging works.

Do not use this when you want the format and hook composition of the whole account; for that, use the Hook and Format Mix Analysis skill. And do not use it to read your own ads; this reads public competitor creative only.

## What you need

- A brand or Facebook page name as it appears in the Meta Ad Library, plus the market if it is region sensitive.
- AdWhispr connected to your AI client. The one-time setup is in the box at the top of this page. No ad account of your own is needed for read-only research.
- A brand that has been ingested and classified, so its longest-running ads can be read for angle and offer.

## How it runs

1. Confirm the brand and market with the user, since the ad library is region aware.
2. Rank the brand's ads by days running and focus on the survivors, because sustained spend is the honest proxy for what is working.
3. Read the messaging in each long-runner: the core angle, the offer, and how the two are framed.
4. Group the angles into named patterns rather than a list of quotes, so the output is reusable rather than copyable.
5. Note which offers recur across the winners and how they are positioned, discount, bundle, guarantee, free trial, and where the brand leaves an angle unused.
6. Hand back the categorized angles and offers, each traceable to the ads it came from, framed as patterns to borrow.

## What the skill checks

- Only ads with real longevity feed the angle set, so the patterns come from proven creative, not from a brand's newest experiments.
- No CTR, ROAS, or spend figure is attached to any angle. Days running is the only performance signal used to select the ads read.
- Angles are abstracted into patterns rather than reproduced as copy, so the deliverable is a strategy input, not a paste-ready script.
- The market is confirmed before concluding an angle is "missing," since an angle absent in one region may run in another.

## When it stops

- Done: a categorized set of angles and offers drawn from the brand's longest-running ads, with the unused openings noted.
- Nothing to report: the brand has too few durable ads to distill reliable patterns, which is reported plainly rather than padded.
- Blocked: the brand does not resolve or has not been ingested, so the skill asks you to confirm the name or ingest it first.

## What it will and won't do

Read only. This skill reads public creative and returns patterns. It never touches an ad account, never spends, and never contacts anyone. It also does not hand back copy to paste; turning an angle into a finished ad is a separate cloning or briefing skill with its own approval.

## What you get

A categorized read of the angles and offers behind the brand's proven ads: the recurring messaging patterns, how the offers are framed, and the angles the brand is not running that you could. Drawn from the longest-running creative, expressed as reusable patterns, with no invented performance scores and no paste-ready copy.

## FAQ

### How do I find the angles behind a competitor's best ads?

By reading the ads that have stayed live the longest, since longevity is the honest signal for what is working. The skill distills those long-runners into named angle patterns, price, urgency, social proof, identity, so you get the reusable idea rather than a list of their exact wording.

### Does this give me copy I can paste into my own ads?

No, and that is deliberate. It abstracts the angle into a pattern you can build your own copy from. Pasting a competitor's wording is neither safe nor effective; borrowing the proven structure is.

### How do you decide which ads' angles to extract?

By days running. The skill focuses on the survivors, because a brand keeps paying only for the angles that pay it back. Newer, unproven ads are not treated as sources of proven patterns.

### Does this touch my ad account?

No. It reads public competitor creative and returns patterns. Your own account is never queried by this skill.
