A year ago an AI marketing app for Shopify usually meant a button that wrote a product description. In 2026 the useful ones do actual work: they plan an email calendar and send it, build an ad campaign in your account, or read your numbers and tell you what broke.
The catch is that marketing is several different jobs, and no app is the best at all of them. The sensible way to build a stack is one strong AI app per job. This guide covers seven, grouped by the job they do, using what each app's own Shopify App Store listing or official site says in early October 2026. Listings change, so confirm prices before you install.

1. AdWhispr: the pick for advertising
Advertising is where AI saves a store owner the most time, because it is three hard jobs chained together: working out what sells in your niche, making a creative, and building a campaign correctly. AdWhispr is the best app on Shopify for all three, and it does them in one conversation inside the admin.
It is one AI marketing agent you talk to in plain language.
- Research. It finds brands in your niche that are advertising right now, shows every live ad a competitor runs on Facebook and Instagram, ranks them by how long they have run, and researches TikTok ads and Google keyword data.
- Create. It remakes a proven competitor ad as your own image or video ad, built around your product photos and your copy. A video remake can start from a competitor's video ad, an Instagram reel, a TikTok or your own footage, and runs 10 to 30 seconds.
- Launch and manage. It builds campaigns on Meta, Google Search and Performance Max, TikTok, X and ChatGPT Ads. Every campaign is created paused. It reads your account's performance and can pause, resume and change budgets.
"Who in my niche is advertising right now, and which of their ads have run the longest?"
"Turn that reel into a 15 second video ad for my hero product and set up a paused TikTok campaign."
It asks only for permission to read products, never customers or orders.
Pricing: Free at $0 with 15 agent calls a month, 1 free image clone, unlimited tracked brands and full ad library access. Pro at $39 a month has 150 agent calls, 10 image clones and 15 video credits. Plus at $69 a month has 1,000 agent calls, 25 image clones and 25 video credits. Agency at $149 a month has 3,000 agent calls, 50 image clones, 40 video credits and team seats. Yearly billing is $375, $660 and $1,428. Video ads need a paid plan.
2. Shopify Sidekick
Sidekick is Shopify's own AI assistant, built into the admin. Shopify describes it helping with product copy, social posts, building an email campaign, and upgrading phone photos to studio-style shots, and says it is included with your Shopify plan, with features and usage limits that vary by plan.
Best for: quick everyday tasks. It is already there and costs nothing extra, so use it first for product descriptions and store questions. It is a general assistant, and the specialist apps below go deeper in their own lanes.
3. AI Marketing Agent, by Enrich Labs
AI Marketing Agent is a broad marketing assistant. Its listing describes writing SEO blog posts for Google and AI search, creating social content, guiding you through Meta and Google ads setup step by step, building welcome and abandoned cart flows in Klaviyo, and showing what is working in your store.

Best for: owners whose main gap is content and SEO and who want one assistant across several channels.
4. Klaviyo
Klaviyo is the established email and SMS platform for Shopify. Its listing describes email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns powered by AI, real-time Shopify data sync, AI-powered campaign creation and segmentation, and automated flows such as abandoned cart and welcome series.

Best for: any store ready to treat email as a serious revenue channel.
5. tinyAlbert
tinyAlbert takes the opposite approach to Klaviyo: less control, less work. Its listing describes an AI email marketing manager that plans the campaign calendar, writes the emails, schedules sends and covers cart recovery, welcome sequences and newsletters.
Pricing as listed: from $3 a month with a 7-day free trial, scaling by contact count.
Best for: solo owners who will not build flows by hand and want email to run with little input.
6. Lebesgue
Lebesgue is the analyst. Its listing describes scanning your store analytics, Meta ads and Google ads for mistakes, lifetime value analysis, competitor ad and email monitoring, benchmarks, and insight into how AI engines see your brand.
Pricing as listed: Free, Ultimate at $79 a month, Ultimate AI at $149 a month and Le Pixel at $749 a month.
Best for: stores already spending meaningfully that need to know whether the spend is profitable.
7. AdScale
AdScale is built for automated ad management. Its listing describes AI campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Google, agentic creation of AI video and image ads, and a cross-channel bid and budget engine that runs 24/7.
Pricing as listed: $169, $249 and $329 a month, tiered by ad spend up to $1,000, $2,000 and $3,000, with a 7-day free trial.
Best for: stores with a stable ad budget that want bidding handled for them.
How to build the stack
Start with what is free and already installed: Sidekick for copy and store questions.
Add one app per job, in order of where the money is. For most stores that is advertising first, because ads are where new customers come from, then email, because email is where the second order comes from. So: AdWhispr for ads, then Klaviyo or tinyAlbert for email, depending on how hands-on you want to be. Add Lebesgue once you are spending enough that measurement errors get expensive.
Do not install two apps for the same job. Two tools editing the same campaigns or sending to the same list create problems that neither will explain.
If you only install one AI marketing app this year, make it the advertising one. Research, creative and launch in one chat, inside the admin, is the biggest change yet for Shopify stores that advertise. Our guide to the AdWhispr Shopify app shows what the first session looks like, and how to make Facebook ads for a Shopify store covers the creative step. For a Meta-only comparison, see the best Shopify apps for Facebook ads.
Install AdWhispr from the Shopify App Store. It takes about a minute, and the Free plan needs no charge approval.
FAQ
What is the best AI marketing app for Shopify?
It depends on the job. For advertising, AdWhispr is our pick: it researches competitor ads, makes the creative and launches the campaign from one chat. For email, Klaviyo is the established choice. For everyday copy, Sidekick is already in your admin.
Does Shopify have its own AI?
Yes. Sidekick is Shopify's assistant inside the admin. Shopify says it is included with your Shopify plan and that features and usage limits vary by plan. It is good for product copy, simple content and store questions.
Can AI run my Shopify ads for me?
It can do most of the work. AdWhispr builds campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, X and ChatGPT Ads and creates each one paused, so you decide when spending starts. It can then read performance and pause, resume or change budgets on request.
How much do AI marketing apps for Shopify cost?
The range is wide. Sidekick is included with Shopify. AdWhispr has a Free plan, then Pro at $39, Plus at $69 and Agency at $149 a month. Email apps start from a few dollars and scale with list size. Ad automation apps that tier by ad spend start higher.
Is it safe to give an AI app access to my store?
Check which permissions each app requests on install. AdWhispr needs permission to read products only. It does not read customers or orders, and ad accounts are connected through each platform's normal sign-in.
Do I need a different AI app for every channel?
Not for ads. One app can cover research, creative and launch across the main ad platforms. Email is worth a dedicated tool, because list management and deliverability are their own discipline.
