AdWhispr documentation

AdWhispr is an advertising assistant you talk to. It researches the ads your competitors are running, turns the winners into image and video creatives for your brand, and launches and manages real campaigns on Meta, Google and TikTok. You do all of it in a chat, and nothing spends until you say so.

What AdWhispr does

1. Research competitor ads

Save your brand from a website or a sentence. Ask who is advertising in your space and you get advertisers verified to be running ads right now, ranked by active ads, with local rivals for local businesses. Pull any brand’s active ads sorted by how long they have run, search them by idea, compare brands, or get a full brief. Google keyword data and TikTok and Instagram research are in the same chat.

2. Generate creatives

Clone a competitor’s image ad into a new image with your product, logo and colors. Turn a winning video ad, your own script, or nothing but your niche into a finished vertical video with a native AI voice. You approve a script first, and only the render uses video credits. Finished creatives land in your Creative Library, ready to launch.

3. Launch and manage real campaigns

Connect your own Meta, Google or TikTok ad account and launch complete campaigns from the chat: paused, previewed, confirmed by you. Then read the results, pause losers, move budgets, fix keywords and edit copy, with a confirmation on every change that costs money.

How the chat works

You type what you want in plain words. The assistant picks the right AdWhispr action, runs it, and shows you the result inline: competitor ads with their images and videos, a generated creative, a campaign preview, or a performance table. A few rules hold everywhere:

  • Everything is created paused. A launch builds the campaign, ad set and ad in your account with delivery off. It starts spending only when you resume it, and resuming asks you to confirm.
  • Spend changes are two steps. Launching, resuming, budget changes, keyword changes and location edits first return a preview. You say yes, and the same request runs for real. Pausing is one step because it only stops spend.
  • Targeting is opt-in. If you do not mention a country, age, gender, interest or device, the launch uses sensible defaults and the preview marks each one as default, so you can adjust before confirming.
  • Ids come from lookups, never guesses. Interests, cities, audiences and pixels are looked up on the platform first and shown to you to confirm.
  • Numbers are never invented. Competitor research reports days running, formats and hooks. It does not report click-through rates, cost per click or return on ad spend for other people’s ads, because the ad libraries do not expose them. Your own account’s numbers are read directly from the platform.

You can chat in the AdWhispr dashboard (Ask Whispr) or inside the assistant you already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grok and others. It is one account, so a brand you save in Claude is there in the dashboard. If you installed AdWhispr from the Claude connector directory, image and video generation happen in the dashboard, and the finished creatives launch from either place. A few newer actions (Google keyword management, Meta audience creation and the account-state read) reach the dashboard chat and the full connector first, before the directory listing.

Connect your ad accounts

Connecting is free on every plan and takes a minute per platform. You sign in on the platform’s own screen and grant access; AdWhispr never sees your password. Two ways to start:

  1. In the dashboard, open Settings, then Connected accounts, and pick Meta Ads, Google Ads or TikTok Ads.
  2. In any chat, say Connect my Meta ad account (or Google, or TikTok). You get a sign-in link, and once you finish, your ad accounts appear in the chat.

What each platform needs before an ad can run:

  • Meta: a Facebook Page the connected profile has a role on (ads run from a Page), a payment method on the ad account, and a Meta pixel if you want a sales campaign.
  • Google Ads: a regular Google Ads account with billing set up. Manager accounts can only oversee other accounts and cannot hold campaigns. Performance Max also needs conversion tracking.
  • TikTok Ads: a payment method under Billing, and your TikTok account linked to the ad account as an identity (Ads Manager, Assets, Identity), because TikTok no longer allows ads under a made-up name.

If a connection stops working, reconnect it under Settings, Connected accounts. Meta connections also expire after a while and whenever you change your Facebook password.

Frequently asked questions

Does AdWhispr spend money without asking me?
No. Every campaign is created paused. Anything that affects spend, such as resuming a campaign or changing a budget, shows a preview and waits for your confirmation.
Which ad platforms can AdWhispr launch on?
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads (Search and Performance Max) and TikTok Ads. Competitor research covers the Meta ad library, TikTok, Instagram content and Google keyword data.
Where do I chat with AdWhispr?
In the Whispr chat in the AdWhispr dashboard, or inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grok and other assistants once you connect AdWhispr to them. The same account and connected ad accounts work everywhere.
Does connecting an ad account cost anything?
Connecting is free on every plan. Launching, optimizing and the performance analysis are part of the paid plans; a free account gets an upgrade link when it asks for those.
Do I need a website or product page first?
Research works from a website or a one-line description of your business. Video ads about a specific product look far better when you add its product page, because they use your real product photos.
