What this error means

Singapore has ad-transparency rules that Meta enforces on any ad whose audience includes Singapore, even when Singapore is one city among several you targeted. Two requirements apply:

  1. A Singapore ad declaration on the ad (subcode 3858550). AdWhispr adds this automatically when Meta asks for it.
  2. A verified advertiser on the ad account (subcode 3858548, "No advertiser information for Singapore"). This is an account-level verification only the advertiser can complete in Meta, so the launch stops here with this message.

Whose side it is on

Meta's verification process and your ad account. AdWhispr cannot verify an advertiser on your behalf.

How to fix it

You have two paths:

  • Keep Singapore in the audience. Complete advertiser verification for the ad account in Meta by following the help page the chat links (Meta's article 983527276402621), then launch again.
  • Do not need Singapore? Remove it from the targeting and the launch goes through right away.

If you see the declaration error (3858550) rather than the verification one, the chat has already tried to add the declaration. Launch from a named Facebook Page so the declaration can be filled from it, or create that one ad in Meta Ads Manager, where Meta prompts for the declaration.

Relaunch

Run the same launch once verification is complete, or with Singapore removed from the locations.

Frequently asked questions

I did not target Singapore. Why does this appear?

One of the cities or regions you chose sits in Singapore, or a country list included it. Check the locations in the preview.

Is there a similar rule for the European Union?

Yes. EU ad accounts must declare who an ad promotes under the Digital Services Act. AdWhispr fills that from your Facebook Page automatically.
