What this error means
Meta enforces a minimum daily budget per ad set, and the budget in your launch was below it. The minimum depends on the optimization goal and on your ad account's billing currency, so Meta's message states the exact amount in that currency. Launches from AdWhispr put the budget on the ad set, which is where this minimum applies.
Whose side it is on
Yours: it is a number in the launch. Nothing is wrong with the account.
How to fix it
- Read the minimum Meta names in the message. It is in the ad account's own billing currency, not necessarily dollars.
- Choose a daily budget above it. A little headroom helps, because the minimum can rise with the optimization goal (a sales ad set needs more than a traffic one).
- If an existing campaign's budget needs raising, ask the chat to change it; the change is previewed and applied where the budget lives.
Relaunch
Run the same launch with the higher daily budget. Everything else can stay as it was.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the minimum different from what I read online?
Because it depends on your currency and on the ad set's optimization goal. Meta's message is the authoritative number for your account.
Does TikTok have a minimum too?
Yes, 20 a day per ad group in the account's currency. See the TikTok reference.
Can I switch to a lifetime budget instead?
Not on an existing campaign; Meta does not allow switching between daily and lifetime. Launch a new campaign with the type you want.
