Launching your first campaign through chat

A step-by-step walkthrough of your first ad launch with AdWhispr on Meta, Google or TikTok: connect the account, get a creative ready, launch it paused, check the preview, and resume it when you are ready to spend.

This guide follows Riverside Chiropractic, a single-location clinic in Austin, from a connected ad account to a live ad. The same steps work for an online store or an agency running client accounts. Nothing spends until the last step, and that step asks you to confirm.

Connect the ad account

Say Connect my Meta ad account (or Google Ads, or TikTok Ads) in the chat. You get a sign-in link, grant access on the platform's own screen, and your ad accounts appear in the chat. You can also do this from Settings, then Connected accounts, in the dashboard. Connecting is free on every plan.

You

Connect my Meta ad account.

AdWhispr

Open this link to sign in with Facebook and choose the ad accounts to connect. When you are done, tell me and I will list them.

You

Done.

Connected: Riverside Chiropractic (act_1234567890), Facebook Page "Riverside Chiropractic". Want to launch something, or read the account first?

Each platform has one or two things it needs before an ad can run: a Facebook Page and payment method on Meta, billing on Google, a payment method and a linked identity on TikTok. The overview lists them.

Get a creative ready

Meta and TikTok launches need an image or video of yours. Upload it to the Creative Library (Creatives in the dashboard sidebar) and give it a name you will remember, or have AdWhispr make one: clone a competitor's image ad, or turn a script into a finished video. See cloning competitor ads.

Google Search needs no creative file. It needs keywords, at least three headlines and two descriptions; the responsive search ad is built from those.

What creatives do I have?

Two in your library: "New patient offer" (image) and "Adjustment demo" (video).

Decide the goal and the budget

Pick the objective before you launch; the chat asks if you have not said. Traffic sends people to your site and is the default. Sales optimizes for purchases through your pixel. Awareness and engagement optimize for reach and interaction. For a local service like the clinic, traffic to a booking page is the usual first choice. The objectives guide goes deeper.

Budgets are daily amounts in your ad account's billing currency. Meta enforces a small minimum per ad set and tells you the amount; TikTok's floor is 20 a day per ad group.

Launch it paused

Say what to launch, on which platform, with what budget and objective. Add targeting only if you want it; anything you do not mention uses a default and the preview marks it.

You

Launch "New patient offer" on Facebook at 20 a day, traffic objective, targeting everyone within 15 km of 2100 South Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Primary text: "New patients: your first visit and exam for 49. Book online in a minute." Headline: "Book your first visit".

Preview: campaign "New patient offer" on the Riverside Chiropractic page, single-image ad, link riversidechiro.com (your saved website), Learn More button, 15 km around 2100 South Lamar Boulevard, all ages (default), all genders (default), all devices (default), 20.00 a day. Everything will be created paused. Create it?

Read the preview like a checklist: the Page, the link, the copy, the audience, the budget. If anything is off, say so and the preview is redone. When it is right, say yes. The campaign, ad set and ad are created in your account with delivery off.

Check what was created

Ask is my ad running? and the chat reads the real state from your account rather than repeating the launch confirmation: paused, in review, rejected with the platform's reason, or waiting on billing. A brand-new ad sits in review for a while. On Meta you can also open Ads Manager and search for the campaign name; the ad may take a little while to appear there.

Resume when you are ready

Resuming takes the campaign live and starts real spend, so the chat warns you and waits for a clear yes.

You

Resume New patient offer.

AdWhispr

This will take "New patient offer" live and it will start spending 20.00 a day. Confirm?

You

Yes, go live.

AdWhispr

Resumed. Meta reviews new ads before delivery, usually within a day. Want me to check the numbers in a few days?

Pausing later is one step: pause New patient offer stops spend immediately. Budget changes are previewed, then applied. After a few days, read the results with the performance guide.

Frequently asked questions

Did the launch start spending?

No. Every campaign is created paused. Spend starts only after you resume it, and the chat asks you to confirm before it does.

What if I do not mention targeting?

The launch uses defaults (on Meta: United States, all ages, all genders, all devices) and marks each one in the preview as default so you can change it before confirming.

The launch failed. What now?

The chat shows the platform's own message plus one sentence on what to do. The common ones each have a fix under troubleshooting. Fix the cause and run the same launch again.

Can I launch to more than one platform at once?

Launch them one at a time, each with its own preview and confirmation. The same creative from your library can be launched on Meta and TikTok.
