You pick a competitor image ad that has been running long enough to count as a proven winner. AdWhispr reads its structure, the hook line, the layout, the visual emphasis, and the offer framing, then rebuilds that structure as a new static ad for your brand and product. You see the plan and a preview before anything is finalized, and nothing launches from this skill. It only produces the creative.

Use this when

A competitor has a static image ad that has clearly worked, long-running and central to their account, and you want your own version of what makes it work rather than a copy of their artwork. It is the natural step after a Competitor Ad Teardown, and it feeds the launch skills once you approve the result.

Use it when the winner you want to model is a still. If the ad you admire is a video, use Clone a Winning Video Ad instead. If you have no competitor in mind and just an idea, use Concept-to-Ad.

What you need

  • A specific competitor image ad to model, ideally one of the longest-running from a teardown.
  • Your brand details and product, so the clone speaks as you and not as them. Saving your brand once makes every clone sharper.
  • AdWhispr connected to your AI client. Setup is a one-time step at /integrations. Creating a static ad does not need an ad account. An account is only needed later, to launch.

How it runs

  1. Identify the source ad and confirm it is worth modeling, longevity first.
  2. Read the ad's structure: hook line, layout, focal image, on-image copy, and offer.
  3. Build a brief that maps that structure onto your brand and product, and show it to you before generating.
  4. Generate the image, then report status while it processes rather than blocking.
  5. Return the finished static ad for review. If it is close but wrong, adjust the brief and re-generate instead of starting over.
  6. On your approval, the creative is saved and ready for a launch skill to pick up.

What the skill checks

  • The source ad is chosen for longevity, not just because it looks good in a still, since a still cannot tell you what has kept running.
  • The brief is confirmed with you before anything is generated, so effort is not spent on the wrong direction.
  • Brand and product details are applied, so the output is yours and not a thin re-skin of the competitor.
  • A failed generation is surfaced plainly, never silently retried into a surprise.

When it stops

  • Done: a finished static ad, on brand, mirroring the proven structure, saved and ready to launch on your go.
  • Iterating: the first version is close but not right, so the brief is adjusted and re-generated rather than re-rolled blindly.
  • Blocked: the source ad cannot be read, or brand details are missing. Reported plainly with the fix.

What it will and won't do

Creates creative only. This skill produces a static ad and stops. It never launches a campaign, never spends ad budget, and never publishes anything. Launching the result is a separate approved skill that pauses for your explicit go.

What you get

A ready-to-run image ad built on a proven structure: your brand, product, and message carried through the hook and layout that kept the original alive, plus the brief that shows exactly what was modeled and what was changed. Approve it and it is available to any launch skill.

FAQ

Is this just copying a competitor's image?

No. It models the structure that makes the ad work, the hook, the layout, the offer framing, and rebuilds it with your brand and product. You get a static ad that inherits a proven pattern, not their artwork.

How do you choose which image ad to clone?

By how long it has run. A static ad a competitor has kept live for months is the closest honest signal to a winner, which is why this skill leans on the teardown's longevity ranking rather than on how polished an ad looks.

Do I need an ad account to make the image?

No. Creating a static ad needs no ad account. An ad account is required later, when you launch the finished creative with one of the launch skills.

What if the first version is wrong?

You adjust the brief and re-generate, rather than starting from scratch. Nothing is approved or launched until you say so.
