You point AdWhispr at a brand and it produces a structured report on the brand's ad strategy: what is working based on longevity, what the account is missing, and where the openings are for a challenger. It reads the classified ad library and turns it into a gradeable brief you can share, not a wall of screenshots. It never invents spend, ROAS, or a score it cannot back; every finding traces to what the ads actually show, and staying power stands in for performance.

Use this when

You need a shareable read on a brand's advertising, for a pitch, a planning session, or a competitive review, and you want structure and a grade rather than a raw ad dump. It is the natural capstone after teardowns and angle work: it pulls the findings together into one document a team can act on.

Do not use this when you only need a quick lookup; the Ad Library Search skill is faster for that. And do not use it to grade your own account; this reads public ad-library data on a brand you name.

What you need

  • A brand or Facebook page name as it appears in the Meta Ad Library, plus the market if it is region sensitive.
  • AdWhispr connected to your AI client. The one-time setup is in the box at the top of this page. No ad account of your own is needed for read-only research.
  • A brand that has been ingested and classified, so the report has ads to draw findings from.

How it runs

  1. Confirm the brand and market with the user, since the ad library is region aware.
  2. Read the brand's classified ads and stats: active ad count, longevity of the top ads, and the format and angle mix.
  3. Identify what is working, the durable ads and the patterns they share, weighted by days running rather than by look.
  4. Identify what is missing, the formats, angles, and offers the account is not running, as the openings a challenger could take.
  5. Assemble the findings into a structured, gradeable report with a clear read on strengths, gaps, and opportunities.
  6. Hand back the report, every finding traceable to the ad library, with no claim the data cannot support.

What the skill checks

  • Findings are drawn from classified ads in the tracked library, not from an earlier session, since a brand's account shifts week to week.
  • No spend, ROAS, CTR, or impression figure appears in the report. Longevity, ad count, and format mix are the only quantities, and the grade rests on them.
  • The grade reflects what the ad library shows, not a guess at business results, so a strong strategy read is never presented as proof of revenue.
  • The market is confirmed before reporting a gap, since an angle absent in one region may run in another and would be a false gap.

When it stops

  • Done: a structured report covering what is working, what is missing, and the openings, with findings traceable to the ads.
  • Nothing to report: the brand has too few classified ads in the market to support a defensible report, which is stated plainly rather than padded.
  • Blocked: the brand does not resolve or has not been ingested, so the skill asks you to confirm the name or ingest it first.

What it will and won't do

Read only. This skill reads a public ad library and returns a report. It never touches an ad account, never spends, and never contacts anyone. Acting on the report, cloning a winner or launching against a gap, is a separate skill with its own approval.

What you get

A structured, shareable report on the brand's ad strategy: the strengths its longest-running ads reveal, the gaps in its format and angle mix, the openings a challenger could take, and a grade grounded in what the ad library shows. No spend estimates, no invented ROAS, no score the data cannot back.

FAQ

What goes into an ad strategy report?

A read of what is working for the brand based on which ads have stayed live longest, what the account is missing across formats and angles, and where the openings are. It is assembled into a gradeable document you can share, with every finding traceable to the ad library rather than to guesswork.

How is the grade calculated without spend or ROAS?

On the signals that are public: how long the top ads have run, how many ads the brand is running, and how varied and durable the creative mix is. The grade reflects strategy strength as the ad library shows it, not business results it cannot see.

Can I use this to plan against a competitor?

Yes. The report calls out the formats, angles, and offers the brand is not running, which are the openings a challenger can take. Pair it with the cloning or launch skills to act on what it finds.

Does this touch my ad account?

No. It reads public ad-library data on the brand you name and returns a report. Your own account is never queried by this skill.
