You tell AdWhispr the category you are moving into. It maps who is already advertising there, finds the ads that have survived the longest across those players, rebuilds a proven one as your own creative, and stands up a first test campaign. Every step before spend runs on its own. The one step that spends is built paused and waits for your explicit go.

Use this when

You are entering a category you do not yet have a track record in and want your first ad to start from what already works in that market, not a guess. It fits a new product line, a new geography, or a founder testing demand in a space before committing budget to it.

Use a single-leg skill instead if you only want part of this. To study one specific incumbent in depth, use the Competitor Ad Teardown skill. To clone a creative without launching, use a clone skill on its own.

What you need

  • The category, product type, or set of terms that describes the niche. If you know a couple of players already in it, name them. If not, the skill can find them.
  • Your brand and product saved, so the clone is yours and the campaign targets correctly.
  • A connected ad account on the platform you want to launch on (Meta, Google, or TikTok). Connection is a one-time setup at /integrations.

How it runs

  1. Confirm the niche with you: the category and the market, since the ad library is region aware.
  2. Map the field. Find the brands advertising in the space and search the ad library for the creative already running against those terms.
  3. Rank what you find by days running. The longest-running ads across the category rise to the top, because sustained spend is the honest proxy for what the market rewards.
  4. Rebuild one proven winner as your own image or video creative, shaped for your brand, and show you a preview.
  5. Confirm the creative. Nothing moves toward spend until you approve what you are about to test.
  6. Build the first test campaign on your chosen platform with budget, targeting, and settings, assembled paused.
  7. Launch gate: the skill shows you the full campaign, the budget, and the daily spend, and stops. Your explicit go is the only thing that puts it live.

What the skill checks

  • The ad you model is chosen for how long it has run across the category, not how it looks in a still.
  • The creative is approved by you before the campaign is built, so spend is never pointed at an ad you have not seen.
  • The test campaign is assembled paused and diffed against what you asked for, so you approve the real thing, not a description of it.
  • Every quantity shown at the launch gate, budget and daily spend, is the actual configured value, not a rounded guess.

When it stops

  • Done: a live first test you explicitly approved, built on a proven angle from the niche you are entering.
  • Held at the gate: everything is built and previewed, waiting on your go. This is the default resting state, not a failure.
  • Blocked: no connected ad account on the chosen platform, or a niche with no active ads to model in the requested market. Each is reported plainly with the fix, before any spend.

What it will and won't do

This playbook can spend, but only at the final gate, and only after you approve both the creative and the built campaign. Nothing launches silently. Every earlier step, research and cloning, is safe and reversible. Stop at the gate and no money moves.

What you get

A first test in a new category, built on what already works there rather than a cold guess: the proven ad it was modeled on with its days-running, the creative preview you signed off, and the exact budget and targeting you launched. One run, category research to live test, with the spend decision kept firmly in your hands.

FAQ

Does this launch ads without my approval?

No. The campaign is always built paused and shown to you in full, with its budget and daily spend, before anything goes live. It launches only on your explicit go.

How does it find winners in a niche I am new to?

It reads the public ad libraries of the brands already advertising in that category and ranks their ads by how long each has kept running. An ad still live after months is the closest honest signal to a winner, so your first test starts from a proven angle.

Which platforms can it launch on?

Meta, Google Search and Performance Max, and TikTok, wherever you have a connected ad account. You choose the platform during the run.

Can I research the niche without spending?

Yes. Every step before the launch gate is research and creative work with nothing spent. Stop at the gate and no budget moves.
