DeepSeek Harness is DeepSeek's open-source agent app, and it is built around plugins: you add one by name and the agent gains a new skill. As of today, AdWhispr is one of them. Install it, sign in once, and DeepSeek can see who is advertising in your space, pull their longest-running ads, clone a winner for your brand, and launch the campaign, all in the same chat.

What it looks like in DeepSeek
We installed the plugin and just talked to it. Here is the actual flow, nothing staged:
- "Who is running ads in my space?" DeepSeek read our saved brand, then came back in about twenty seconds with a ranked list of advertisers checked to be live right now, with how many active ads each one is running.
- "Show me their longest-running ads." It laid out each ad in its own block: the creative, how many days it has been running, the hook, the headline, and a link to watch the video.
- Then it offered the next step itself. Without being asked, it suggested cloning the strongest ad for our brand.
Research to proven winners to your own campaign, inside the agent you already have open.
Install AdWhispr in DeepSeek Harness
- Open Plugins, then Add plugin. In the DeepSeek Harness desktop app, go to Plugins and click Add plugin.
- Type the plugin name. Enter
dsh-plugin-adwhispr, click Install, then Enable now. - Sign in when your browser opens. A browser tab opens on AdWhispr. Create an account or sign in, then click Allow. No account yet? It is free to start at adwhispr.com.
- Ask your first question. Go back to DeepSeek, start a new session, and ask who is running ads in your space.
Prefer the command line? One line does it:
dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-plugin-adwhispr
You sign in once. After that, DeepSeek reconnects by itself every time you open it.
First prompts to try
Start with research. It is read-only, it is the fastest way to see the data is real, and it touches no ad account.
Who is running ads in my space?
Show me [competitor]'s longest-running ads with their thumbnails.
Longest-running is our proxy for what is actually working, because brands do not keep paying for losing ads. AdWhispr never invents numbers: Meta's Ad Library does not expose CTR, CPC, or ROAS, so we do not print them.
Then, once you have connected an ad account in AdWhispr:
Clone a winning ad for my brand.
Launch a new campaign from my creatives, paused until I OK it.
Optimize my ad spend.
Every new campaign is created paused. Nothing spends until you say so.
What you need
- DeepSeek Harness 0.2 or later.
- Node.js on your computer. The plugin uses it to run a small sign-in helper. If you write code, you almost certainly have it already. Check with
node -vin a terminal. - An AdWhispr account. Free to start. Launching campaigns needs your own Meta, Google or TikTok ad account connected in AdWhispr first.
We built and tested this on the Mac desktop app.
If something goes wrong
DeepSeek says AdWhispr is disconnected. Finish the browser sign-in, then quit DeepSeek Harness and open it again. It stops retrying after a few failed attempts, so if sign-in took a while, a restart is what reconnects it.
The browser tab never opens. Check that Node.js is installed and that nothing on your machine is blocking localhost.
You want to switch AdWhispr accounts. Delete the .mcp-auth folder in your home directory and restart DeepSeek Harness to sign in again.
Why a plugin, and what it does on your machine
DeepSeek Harness can talk to outside tools, but it does not handle a browser sign-in by itself yet. The plugin fills that gap: it opens the sign-in for you and keeps your login on your own computer. It does not copy your data anywhere else, and your DeepSeek account and your AdWhispr account stay separate.
Your brands, creatives and campaigns live in your AdWhispr account, so they are the same in DeepSeek as they are in Claude, ChatGPT, or the AdWhispr dashboard. Set up once, use it wherever you are working that day.

Where to go from here
Once the plugin is on, DeepSeek stops being a general assistant and becomes an analyst with hands for your ad account. It can tell you which competitor ad has run for months, clone it in your brand's voice, put it live, and adjust the budget when you ask.
