Claude is good at reasoning about advertising and has no idea what anyone is actually running. Connecting AdWhispr fixes that: it gives Claude a set of tools that read real Meta, TikTok and Google ad data, and that can launch campaigns into your own ad accounts.
This takes about two minutes and needs no code.
Step 1: Open the connector settings in Claude
In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, then Add, then Add custom connector.
Connectors are available on Claude.ai in the browser and in the desktop app. If you do not see the option, make sure you are signed in and on a plan that supports connectors.
Step 2: Paste the AdWhispr MCP URL
Paste this as the connector URL:
https://adwhispr.com/api/mcp
Give it the name AdWhispr so it is easy to spot in the tool list later.
Step 3: Authorize the connection
Click Connect. Claude opens an AdWhispr sign-in window. Approve it, and the connector goes green.
This is a normal OAuth handshake. AdWhispr never sees your Claude conversation, and Claude never sees your AdWhispr password.
Step 4: Confirm it works
Start a new chat and paste this:
Use AdWhispr to research Gymshark's Meta ads and show me their longest-running winner.
Claude should call the AdWhispr tools, pull Gymshark's live ad library, and come back with the oldest ad still running plus how many days it has been live. If it answers from general knowledge instead of calling a tool, start a fresh chat and name AdWhispr explicitly in the prompt.
What you can ask once it is connected
The tools cover three jobs, and you can chain them in one sentence.
- Research. "Who are my competitors and what are they running right now?"
- Clone. "Clone their best performing ad for my brand."
- Launch. "Launch that as a Google Search campaign at $40 a day."
The first time you mention your own business, AdWhispr saves it, so later questions do not need you to re-explain what you sell.
FAQ
Does this cost anything?
No. The free plan covers one tracked brand with no credit card. Paid plans raise the number of brands and lift the monthly call limit.
Is my ad account at risk?
Connecting AdWhispr to Claude does not touch any ad account on its own. Reading competitor ads uses public ad-library data. Launching campaigns requires a separate step where you connect your own Google, TikTok or Meta account and approve the connection.
Why does Claude sometimes answer without using AdWhispr?
Claude decides when a tool is needed. If it answers from memory, say "use AdWhispr" in the prompt. Naming the tool reliably forces the call.
Does this work in Claude Code too?
Yes, with one command instead of the settings screen:

What data does AdWhispr actually see?
The prompts you send to its tools, and the ad accounts you explicitly connect. It does not read the rest of your Claude conversation.
