A first render came back close but not right: the hook lands but the pacing drags, the product shot is off, a line reads wrong. Instead of throwing it out and rolling the dice again, you change the specific part of the brief that is off and re-render from there. You see the updated brief and the new preview before anything is finalized, and nothing launches from this skill. It only produces the creative.

Use this when

You already have a render from one of the cloning skills and it is nearly there. You know what needs to change, and you want that change made without losing the parts that already work. This is the loop the other creative skills hand off to when a first version is close but wrong.

Use it to refine an existing render. If you have no render yet, start with Clone a Winning Video Ad, Script-to-Video Ad, or Concept-to-Ad. If the direction is fundamentally wrong rather than close, it is cleaner to start a fresh brief in the skill that made it.

What you need

  • An existing rendered ad from a cloning skill, and a clear note on what is off: the hook, a line, the pacing, the product, the offer.
  • Your brand details and product already on file, so the re-render stays on brand while you change one thing.
  • AdWhispr connected to your AI client. Setup is a one-time step at /integrations. Each re-render needs video credits on your plan but does not need an ad account. An account is only needed later, to launch.

How it runs

  1. Start from the existing brief and render, not a blank page, so the working parts are kept.
  2. Read what you flagged and locate the exact part of the brief that produces it.
  3. Adjust only that part of the brief, and show you the change before rendering.
  4. Re-render, then report status while it processes rather than blocking.
  5. Return the new version for review. If it is still off, adjust again and re-render, one change at a time.
  6. On your approval, the creative is saved and ready for a launch skill to pick up.

What the skill checks

  • The change is anchored to the existing brief, so a fix to one beat does not quietly rewrite the rest.
  • The revised brief is confirmed with you before any re-render, so credits are not spent on a guess.
  • Brand and product details stay applied across every iteration.
  • Status is reported honestly while the render is in flight, and a failed render is surfaced, never silently retried into a surprise charge.

When it stops

  • Done: the render is right, on brand, and you approve it, saved and ready to launch on your go.
  • Iterating: the version is better but still off, so the brief is adjusted again rather than re-rolled from scratch.
  • Blocked: no video credits on the plan, or there is no prior render to revise. Reported plainly with the fix, no charge attempted.

What it will and won't do

Creates creative only. This skill refines a brief and re-renders, then stops. It never launches a campaign, never spends ad budget, and never publishes anything. Launching the approved result is a separate approved skill that pauses for your explicit go.

What you get

The version you actually wanted, reached by changing the parts that were off rather than regenerating blindly: the working hook and beats kept, the flagged problems fixed, your brand held steady across every pass, plus the updated brief that shows exactly what changed. Approve it and it is available to any launch skill.

FAQ

Why revise the brief instead of just re-generating?

Because a fresh generation throws away the parts that already worked and rolls the dice on all of them again. Revising the brief keeps the good hook and beats and changes only what you flagged, so each pass moves toward the version you want instead of sideways.

Does each re-render cost credits?

Yes. Each re-render needs video credits on your plan, which is why the change is confirmed with you before it runs, so a pass is not spent on the wrong fix.

How many times can I revise?

As many as you need. The loop keeps refining one change at a time until the render is right and you approve it. Nothing is approved or launched until you say so.

Do I need an ad account to revise?

No. Revising and re-rendering need video credits, not an ad account. An account is required later, when you launch the finished creative with one of the launch skills.
